Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nokeed (the Chrome extension and nokeed.com website), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.

Description of Service

Nokeed provides:

  • A Chrome browser extension for capturing and annotating screenshots
  • Cloud storage for uploaded screenshots
  • Shareable links to view uploaded screenshots

The service is provided free of charge. No account registration is required.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all content you upload to Nokeed. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the right to upload and share the content
  • The content does not violate any laws or regulations
  • The content does not infringe on any third party's rights

Prohibited Content: You must NOT upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

You must not upload:

  • Illegal content of any kind
  • Copyrighted material without permission
  • Malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Personal or private information of others without consent
  • Content that exploits or harms minors in any way
  • Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Spam or misleading content

Public Nature of Uploads

All screenshots uploaded to Nokeed are publicly accessible. Anyone with the unique URL can view the screenshot. There is no password protection or private upload option.

Do not upload sensitive, confidential, or private information. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to share any content you upload.

Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of content you upload
  • By uploading, you grant Nokeed a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and serve the content
  • This license is necessary for us to provide the service
  • We do not claim ownership of your content

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, without prior notice. We may also remove content in response to valid legal requests or DMCA takedown notices.

Important: Do not use Nokeed as your only storage for important images. Always keep local copies of anything important.

Rate Limiting

To prevent abuse, uploads are limited to 100 per hour per IP address. Attempting to circumvent rate limits may result in temporary or permanent blocking.

Limitation of Liability

Nokeed is a free service provided without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service
  • We are not liable for any content uploaded by users
  • We are not liable for data loss, service interruption, or security breaches
  • Our maximum liability is limited to $0 (as this is a free service)
